A spicule Idenel Glassifier treatment is a Korean inspired skin resurfacing treatment that uses microscopic sponge derived spicules to stimulate skin renewal.
The spicules act like tiny micro needles. When massaged into the skin, they create microscopic stimulation and can help active ingredients penetrate while encouraging the skin’s natural renewal process. Unlike traditional microneedling, there is no needling device involved.
What Glassifier is designed to help with
• Dull, rough or uneven skin texture
• Enlarged or congested pores
• Uneven skin tone and pigmentation
• Fine lines and early signs of ageing
• Post acne marks
• Overall brightness and a beautiful “glass skin” appearance
What does it feel like?
During treatment, clients can usually feel a prickly or tingling sensation as the spicules are worked into the skin. Afterwards, the skin may continue to feel slightly prickly when touched for a day or two.
Some clients may experience dryness or light flaking as the skin goes through its natural renewal process.
Spicules vs Microneedling
They work differently. Microneedling uses controlled needles to create channels at a specific depth, whereas spicules are microscopic structures that are massaged into the upper layers of the skin.
This makes Idenel Glassifier a fantastic treatment on its own or as part of a personalised skin treatment programme alongside treatments such as microneedling and Laser Genesis.
